Buttercups Day Nursery was established in April 2002 by two mums with a passion for childcare. Catering for children aged 3 months to 5 years, we are small enough to create a homely atmosphere. In addition we are still privately owned and not part of a chain.

We are a small nursery and as such, our dedicated nursery practitioners work in a close, supportive team. Frequent room meetings and staff meetings enable our staff to plan activities suitable to the children in their care, paying particular attention to the individual needs of each child. We organise activities that stimulate and encourage imagination, using every opportunity to encourage the children to take turns, share and be considerate to others.

Our qualified staff levels exceed OFSTED requirements and all practitioners are encouraged to attend regular training events tp update their skills and knowledge.

We are an equal opportunities employer and all staff go through the process of clearance by the Disclosure and Barring services ( DBS ) to ensure they are suitable to work with children.
