The children are grouped according to their age and developmental stage. Since we are a small nursery, our dedicated nursery practitioners work in a close team to support the needs of each individual child. The Early Years Foundation Stage Birth to Five Years Framework is followed and activities are planned to encourage and stimulate both inside and outside learning.
Baby Rooms:
Babies and little ones in the age range 3 months to 2 years are cared for by 3 dedicated staff in two interconnected rooms. A separate sleeping room provides peace and quiet for rest periods.
Over 2's
Our 2-3 year olds and pre-school age group (3-5 yrs) are cared for by 4 dedicated staff in two interconnected rooms. The environment is organised in a way to facilitate free-flow between the inside and outside spaces, providing opportunity for lots of investigation and exploration.
We encourage development without compromising on fun and make full use of the large garden for all age groups in all weathers.
- Grass for picnics and sensory play
- Rubber chipping area for ball games, climbing and general running around
- Messy corner for sand, water and painting
- Paving for bikes and scooting around
- Nature area for planting, digging, bug hunts and that all important exploration!
